You're invited to the #BUILTBYGIRLS Challenge Pitch Day, the live culmination of our annual competition for tech projects built by girls, judged by girls.Â
Â
We asked young women ages 15-18 to submit tech-enabled ideas and products that could be the next big start-up or change the face of education. Now it's time for the top teams to pitch their projects to a panel of expert girl judges for a chance to win funding and mentorship to take their work to the next level.Â
You'll be hearing girls pitch for two tracks:
-Future Founders: This track is for girls building a technology product that has potential to be the next great start-up. These girls are the next generation of female founders.
-Let Girls Build: This year, we’re taking the Challenge all the way to the White House—we’re working in support of Michelle Obama and the Let Girls Learn initiative on a brand new competition track focused on global girls' education. This track is for girls who have ideas to use technology to help #62MillionGirls around the world go to school.
Our 17-year-old judges, who have a background in entrepreneurship and VC, will select winners from each track. As they make their decision, they'll be mentored by Bay Area tech and VC experts and subject matter experts in girls' education. Â
Â
Join us to network and watch the next generation of tech builders, creators and innovators take over Silicon Valley.Â

About #BUILTBYGIRLSÂ
& Citizen AOL
Technology is the great accelerator—it’s the single biggest supercharger that will fuel your passion and drive your success. At a moment in time where everyone is talking about girls in STEM, we recognize that code is just the beginning and that there are countless opportunities for a career powered by technology. We equip today’s young woman to take her place in the tech-enabled economy through internships, workshops, competitions and online content.
We believe that the world will be #BUILTBYGIRLS. Young women who understand the power of technology, who are ever curious, who grab opportunity – who we can help be ahead of the game.
